Statistics of Abused Women

Women experience 4.8 million intimate partner-related physical assaults and rapes every year. Less than 20 percent of battered women then seek treatment following an injury

Our Objective

We are seniors at Judge Memorial, and are currently in a social justice class. Our objective was to choose something we felt passionate about and to advocate for that cause. We chose the YWCA, whose mission is to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We created this blog to help educate people throughout our community and share what the YWCA can offer to our community.
